The mission of OLLI@CSUMB is to create and facilitate an educational program that delivers the joys and benefits of lifelong learning. OLLI celebrates the insatiable curiosity of older adults and their ongoing quest to learn about, engage with, and contribute to the world around them.
OLLI@CSUMB is a dynamic learning community of 800+ adults, age 50 and better, offering fresh, curated courses taught by CSUMB faculty and distinguished experts in their fields, as well as unique collaborations with community partners. OLLI@CSUMB creates opportunities to share intellectual interests and make new friends, and features multiple ways to engage and gather, including in-person, online, and recorded courses.
My takeaway is that it's not only about the delicious stew, but also the gathering. OLLI serves up a delightful intellectual feast, along with a healthy helping of family.
